The fat loaf in Altrincham swung open its doors in late December 2006. We are a modern European bistro offering some of the best food in the north headed by Michelin* trained chef and ex head chef of room on king street Matthew Shaw.

The menu is based around French recipes with a modern interpretation, the wine list is very competitive with easy drinking and fine wine offerings.

The service is friendly but efficient to give a warm welcome to all our guests.

We also boast a unique bar area with a selection of 12 world beers that match perfectly with our food.

We can seat up to 50 dining plus our private dining area which is capable of holding up to 30 for private functions.
